As stewards of the Lord Jesus Christ we are entrusted with His finances, in order to serve Christ as managers, treasurers and administrators. As stewards of His money we must follow His principles and trust in His promises, in order to benefit from His products, for "God loves a cheerful giver". Principle #1 = "you reap what you sow", so do so bountifully - be generous! Principle #2 = "giving starts in the heart", so chose to give cheerfully - be enthusiastic! If we follow these principles, God's promises will follow. Promise #1 = "you will have to give", so trust God to supply - plan for a generous ministry! Promise #2 = "you will reap a harvest", so thank God ahead of time - plan for a harvest of righteousness! The four products that will result are: (1) Excess - a liberal supply resulting in thanksgiving; (2) Example - a proof of your salvation to God's glory; (3) Exchange - an affectionate relation between givers and recipients; (4) Exuberance - a grateful response to God's indescribable gift.
