The sovereignty of God is unmistakable in Ecclesiastes. In 3:1 it reads "every thing" and "every time" and "every purpose." God's will is inclusive. We don't have to understand it all in order to believe it all. The captivating poetic statements found in verses 2-8 speak of everyday things. God has predestined them all. God's sovereignty convinced Solomon it's best to rejoice in your life's portion (v.22).
