We can all be glad when the chastisement is done. Our God knows how much of a whipping we need to get right with Him. He doesn’t do too little nor too much, despite what we may think. Our disobedience brings chastisement and sometimes that means turning us over to the oppression of the enemy for a while. Chastisement can end with trust in God for our daily walk. He will break the chastisement when we truly humble ourselves. When the restraints are gone and the chastisement ended rejoicing will erupt. Has God been chastising you? Are you responding to Him?
