From the Tract: The second half of Romans 7 describes the conflict of the two natures in the child of God: it simply sets forth in detail what is summarized in Galatians 5:17; Romans 7:14, 15, 18, 19, 21 are now true of every believer on earth. Every Christian falls far, far short of the standard set before him—we mean God's standard, not that of the so-called “victorious life” teachers. If any Christian reader is read to say that Romans 7:19 does not describe his life, we say in all kindness, that he is sadly deceived.
Great Sermon! I have heard this sermon more than once and I'm about to hear it again. The struggle within and without. Lord be merciful to me The Sinner. Oh how I long for the day to leave this SINFUL flesh and sang praise to my Lord without SIN interference forever more in unbroken fellowship. We all have one SIN we battle against. Thank You Jesus for your righteousness and Blood. It's my and the true Church of God only hope. Never give in to sin. Striving always and when we fall looking always to Christ. Our all in all.

Great Sermon! Roman 8 is the mountain top of the Christian's confidence in His Lord, while Romans 7 is the valley of vision, of Christian wisdom, because true wisdom is a knowledge of self and a knowledge of God,the Christian in Roman's 7 sees himself in truth. this message is true medication to the believer. Thanks be to God, who has given us the victory "Through" our Lord Jesus Christ.

Great Sermon! wonderful message it brings to light the two natures of man.. seeing this we see struggles of the natural man and the inter -man which is only common, and the conflict last as long as man lives in the flesh, Paul decribes himself as a wreched man but delivered through the power of God to have helped him excape through the inter man whom is of God .we are to walk in the spirit OF God not in the old nature, and to follow the commands of God instead of the flesh, note as long as saved man lives he will have conflicts of the flesh man and the inter -man

sound principles here. It is strange that there are no comments on the writings of this eminent Christian, so i shall place the first (?) one.
The Lord used the challenging writings of Arthur Pink to transform my life from a "nominal" Christian only, which drove me to my knees in repentance.(On the text Hebrews 12:14)
Since then the Lord has been pleased by His grace, to use other writings by A.W.P. to help and encourage on my pilgrim pathway, and the tract from Romans 7 is no exception.
May this be used to help someone else as well who is crying out as Paul "o wretched man that i am...." !
Thankyou sermonaudio for placing some of A.W. Pink's works on the site, he would have been amazed that the Lord is using his writings in such a way, when he was saddened at the lack of spirituality in his day amongst those who "professed" to be born again.
Arthur W. Pink (1886-1952) was born in Great Britain and immigrated to the U.S. to study at Moody Bible Institute. He pastored churches in Colorado, California, Kentucky, and South Carolina before becoming an itinerant Bible teacher in 1919. He returned to his native land in...
