Text: Isaiah 61:1-4 | Title: The Christ Who Conquers and Restores | Description: We continue our look at Isaiah's prophecy about the Anointed One. He is sent on a two-fold mission: to conquer his enemies as king and to minister to his people as servant. Jesus, the Servant-King, is the one who ushers in this year of the Lord's favor, as he himself declared (Luke 4:21). We, who were once his enemies, have now received his mercy and enjoy his favor forevermore.
