Today is the last day of 2023. It is New Year's Eve and for some, this is a special day for sending out the old year and bringing in a new year with new hopes and dreams. I too have hopes and dreams for this fellowship, this small island of light in a valley of darkness that so needs the Gospel and its promise of salvation through Christ Jesus. As a church and as a church family, I believe that we need to unite in spirit and truth providing a loving and Christ centered refuge for our family, an oasis of love and right Biblical teaching and leadership to help protect us from the spiritual and potentially physical dangers of the world to come. I believe that 2024 has the potential to be a very difficult and hazardous year for Christians not only here in the US but also throughout the world. I implore you the keep your families close and as a part of Christ's church we must be here for each other and our community being the salt and the light that we are commanded to be by our Lord.
