Today we continue our look at the doctrine of Unconditional Election. As the second point, or the "U" in the well-known acronym TULIP, Unconditional Election is often viewed as one of the more controversial Doctrines of Grace (Five Points of Calvinism). Is that controversy justified though? Is Unconditional Election just a misguided vestige of Reformers past, or is it grounded in biblical understanding? Does the idea of Unconditional Election interfere with man's free will, or our highly coveted desire for independence? As Arminianism would suggest, do we have any role to play a in our salvation, having to first choose to accept God's offer of grace? Join us for "The Doctrines of Grace: Unconditional Election (Part II)" as we focus primarily on Old Testament examples this week that will attempt to answer these questions!
