Dr. Kent Hovind founded Creation Science Evangelism in 1989. In 2006, due to a variety of legal troubles, Kent found himself sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was released in the summer of 2015, and immediately resumed the operation of his ministry defending the doctrine of Biblical creation. During his time in prison, he had a lot of time to study the Bible, and well as be exposed to a variety of non-biblical reading materials. Somewhere in the mix of all that, Kent Hovind was "educated" out of his belief in the Pretribulation Rapture. After, by his own admission, "believing in the Pretribulation Rapture for over 40 years", he now calls that doctrine a "lie of Satan".
How is it possible to fall so far after so long a time in believing the truth? It's because we live in the end times in the very moments before the Rapture, and Satan is working overtime to steal the Blessed Hope of Titus 2:13 from as many Christians as he possibly can.
