Jesus, the Great I Am - Message 3 - I Am the Good Shepherd. During the Feast of Dedication (Hanukkah) Jesus uses the common place to make several spiritual application about Himself and His Kingdom. He tells us about the sheepfold, shepherds, hirelings, doorkeepers, and the sheep. He warns about those who would harm the flock and also tells us about the relationship the shepherd has with each of His sheep. Jesus identifies Himself as the only door into the sheep fold (the Kingdom), and also as the Good Shepherd (just as Zechariah prophesied). What a great blessing that Jesus is our Good Shepherd!
