Moving a bit slower than I had anticipated when doing some preliminary work for this series. But, since we have started it and I as I dig in a bit, I am finding a deep richness to the text that I have missed before. Guess pretty much like everyone else I have always treated Mark like the middle child of the Gospels! The one we know is there but isn't Matthew or Luke or even the late unexpected arrival John. Anyway, here we will find Jesus beginning to teach and to heal. In this case an exorcism. The people were amazed. Me too. If you are not I will not have done my job well.
