Once again it is our great privilege as the people of God to come to the Lord's Supper. This is our Lord's designated time to remember His death, and to reflect upon its great significance in our lives. It also anticipates the future marriage supper of the Lamb when the entire company of the redeemed will feast together in the presence of our Savior. I am going to conclude our communion meditation series on the biblical doctrine of Justification. In the sermon today I want to summarize two crucial distinctions related to this doctrine. We must retain the biblical distinctions between law and gospel, and between works and faith. This is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL, for failure to do so is the error that is common to all natural religions, and all “Christian” cults, and Roman Catholicism. Therefore, may the Lord be pleased grant us even greater understanding of this fundamental doctrine, and may we come to the Lord's Supper in a profitable and edifying manner
