We see here in verses 22-26 Christ’s triumphant praise to His Father for fulfilling His Eternal Purposes in regard to Redemption through Himself. Christ glories in this, and we should glory in it as well, because this is the reason that we have come to know God, and this is the reason that our hearts will live forever. Christ responds to what the Father has done for Him in raising Him from the dead by declaring His Father’s name to His brethren, and He tells us what we should do, we who believe in Christ, in light of His resurrection. So let us look at these things in that order.
