While we wait for things to be just right, God just keeps working in spite of circumstances. Those who think a church is totally discredited because iniquity is found in someone there are simply delusional; it is never that way. This is the church age, not ancient Israel, and the whole thing does not come to a halt if there is an Achan in the camp. There was an embezzler among the very twelve disciples of Jesus, but that did not mean his whole ministry was to be discredited. One day He will come to gather his jewels and in eternity it will be what we would all like for it to be now. In the meantime, it is very unwise to use the faults and sins found in churches to stay away and not be a part of a local church.
