Going into the New Year we will again study the lives of Simeon and Anna, as well as wise men from the east, where we see great faith and faithfulness in their lives and we will be challenged to live such lives today. There will be simple lessons that each and every one of us can learn and we begin to see such simple lessons in the lives of the shepherds:  Be faithful daily as you serve in your vocation or calling.  Hear what God has to say in the Holy Scriptures.  Do what God commands, even when it seems a little strange! If we do this the result will be lives that reflect the response from these faithful shepherds
