God is doing the signs and wonders through Moses. God asks a lot questions in the Bible. When God asks questions it is not because He needs information. God knows the answers to all the questions and He knows all the words before they enter the tongue. Honesty with God will help get you free. Which is scarier; To pickup a snake as big as you are, or disobey God? We need to do what God says. When Moses obeyed God, things seemed to get worse. When Moses wants to bail out, (Moses made an excuse), and God replies that He is the one who makes people see and blind, speak and dumb, God is in control. Moses argues with God over what God has said would happen. A tragic problem in America is the loss of fear of God. It is amazing that God will go along with things He does not like. We need to obey the Lord, He is in control. Obedience may feel scary but it is much smarter than disobedience.
