Most people think that we sin because we are depraved, but the Bible teaches that sin makes you depraved, you do not start out that way. It is happening all around us and in the church pews. People are blinding their hearts with worldly philosophies, entertainments, cares, and affections. The more they do that, the more their understanding is darkened. We can see the whole thing slipping into deep darkness. It is time to wake up, if you want to escape what is coming upon this earth.
