This is a brief recommendation for the Legacy Standard Bible. I rarely recommend translations, and never products. But I recommend the LSB because it consistently translates words from the original using the same corresponding word in English throughout. This will help you connect the dots between the Greek and Hebrew and the English, and assist you to better understand the overall principle being set forth by the Spirit in the text. The KJV, ESV, and NASB also do this, but not quite as consistently. What I want for you is the joy of hearing God in the text.
