Preservation of the saints of God popularly misunderstood is simplisticly expressed like this 'once saved, always saved', meaning once I am saved I can do whatever I want whenever want to whomever I want however I want and I will never lose my salvation. That is NOT true and as you will see in the epistle of Jude, Jude does NOT believe that is true. The preservation of God's chosen people is never separate from the perseverance of God's people. Love and sanctification go hand-in-hand. Preseveration and perseverance go hand-in-hand.

Great Sermon! I thank God for your unabased handling of this text. I taught from this great text a few years ago along similar lines and had a few departures that were as John says in his epistle of those "who were not of us for if they had been of us they would have continued..." Your message confirms the fact that God is raising up a holy church that He will not be ashamed to call His brethren.
