Promises are what light up our future, and the promises of God are what hope is made of. So imagine the state of all the souls who live in this world without God and without hope. No wonder that suicide is one of the leading causes of death, especially among the young. They have no hope, because they have not God. "Worship" as it is being presented to them, will not give hope to the soul, but will only give them a temporary escape from their despair, the same as drugs and alcohol do. They need God! God who created the heavens! The God who sent his Son to die for them! Once the soul gets hold of the truth of what God has promised to those who love Him and have forsaken their sin and this world for Him, they realize everlasting hope in their innermost being.
