“Tempt” to prove, try, or test. Throughout his life, Abraham had endured different tests. Now all of the test have led to this time of testing. Each test has been increasing his faith; proving what is really on the inside. The test may seem pointless or even painful but God always has a purpose for what He does. God always has a provision for us if we go far enough to receive it. When we truly trust God we will walk in confidence. Nobody will be excused from their test. The test is not designed for us to fail. But the question remains, will we pass the test?
