As we begin a new year, let us be reminded by the Holy Spirit, the author of the scriptures, that all our goodness, strength, wisdom, and victory comes from God, and can only be achieved and experienced by faith. And therefore let us not only trust in, look to, depend on, and follow the living God and only Savior, but rejoice in Him and obey Him.
"O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God," (Ps. 68:35). |
