“ Great Sermon! ” Great message Bro. Doug! Interesting teaching on "he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." (2 Thess.2:7) I was always taught that it was the restraining power of the Holy Spirit indwelling the Church age saints---and he is "taken out of the way" when the Church is raptured before the 70th week of Daniel begins. Would never have figured out that this restrainer could be Michael the Archangel!

“ Great Sermon! ” Suffering tribulation today, tomorrow or in the past has absolutely nothing to do with the timing of the Rapture. Men will wax worse and worse and Christians will suffer more as the Day of Christ approaches. 2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall WAX WORSE AND WORSE, deceiving, and being deceived. The pre-tribulation rapture is not an escapist teaching. It simply points out that Daniel's 70th Week is not for the Church; it is for the nation of Israel. Sorry you were so offended by the title but the message speaks the truth in love. A "hoax" is a malicious deception. Getting people's eyes off of the coming of Jesus to looking for the Mark, the Beast, the anti-Christ, 144,000, the Two Witnesses is wicked, deceptive and a hoax. Sorry, but I am sure that all the men you mentioned would consider what I have said as a hoax too.

“ The Audio Title was Insulting ” Where's the love Pastor Stauffer? When a supposed brother in Christ refers to the view of the pre-wrath rapture as something as that of a "hoax" and a "lie" is deeply insulting to me as a Christian who used to hold the pre-tribulation view. Men like; Charles Cooper, Bob Van Kampen, Charles Swann, Marvin Rosenthal, Vincent Sawyer, and Zach Poonen have copiously referenced Holy Scripture to lay out a sound defense of the timing of the catching up of the Bride of Christ just before the wrath of God. They all teach patiently, lovingly, and all exhort and admonish Christian believers to search the Scriptures to verify the things claimed.
I simply do not have the faith to believe in a pre-tribulation rapture after studying. These men have laid out such a Scripturally convincing case for the timing of the catching up of the saints.
Something Zach Poonen said still shakes me. Pastor Poonen said something like, Nobody but Christians in England and America believe in a pre-tribulation rapture. He continued, Christians everywhere else who are being imprisoned, butchered and slaughtered for their faith in Jesus Christ DON'T believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.
