Within the collection of the Psalms of Ascent is the idea of progression. The progression is a progression that leads us closer and closer to God. As true believers, disciples of Christ, we are making our way through this world with the purpose of being transformed to the image of Christ. These Psalms of Ascent keep our hearts and minds oriented on that priority.
As we together read, study, meditate, and reflect upon the Psalms of Ascent we will learn about both God and ourselves as true disciples. Our emotions will be touched, our minds informed, and our wills moved.
