The Apostle Paul has spent a considerable amount of time addressing the practical matters of everyday relationships. He desired that the churches love God and love each other according to the truth. There were many in the church going astray into false doctrine (teachings) and unrighteous living. In love, the Apostle confronted the churches and called them back to faithfulness to God and each other in the truth. As we look into 2016, it is my prayer that we have humility, compassion, and servant hearts. Let’s turn to Galatians 6 and learn about the importance of God-centered relationships. My title today is Building Christian Relationships. We will be discussing how Christian relations involve 1) Restoration (compassion) 2) Participation (contribution) 3) Self-examination (confession) and 4) obligation (commitment, faithfulness).
