Ro. 12:13 "Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality."
Care for One Another (v.25 c-d)
Gal. 6:1-2 1 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. 2 Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
1 Thess. 5:14 "we urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted (depressed), help the weak, be patient with them all."
2 Tim. 3:16-17 16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God[b] may be complete, equipped for every good work.
5 Things They never say….
- They never mention God - especially Jesus and the HS, the comforter.
- They never mention our spiritual condition (sin).
- They never mention that suffering is meaningful within God's plan of mercy and judgment.
- They never mention that God really does forgive sinners who repent and believe in his Son. Never mention the good news.
- They never mention that all human beings are meant to become worshippers of God in Christ and be reconciled to God.
