And yet, as Luther nailed to a chapel door over 500 years ago now, "When our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ, said "repent," he meant that the entire life of believers should be one of repentance." After all, this is how the way of the Lord is prepared– through the preaching of the kingdom of heaven and the command for all people everywhere to repent. By the grace of God, may we reach the kind of repentance the Lord in his patience longs for us to reach.
