This is a royal psalm by David (Acts 4:25) describing the ultimate reign of his descendant, God's Son, forever and forever. It stresses four things:(1) The vain attempt by world rulers to resist God's King; (2) the bold ridicule by God of those who oppose His King; (3) The clear decree of God's choice of His Son as King; (4) And the five commands for a proper response to His King.
