Paul closing remarks are helpful to us as believers in many ways. The first is that he encouraged the believers at Corinth to be charitable toward the brethren at Jerusalem seeing that they had needs that could be relieved by the Corinthians believers. Secondly that there were co-laborers in the ministry that Paul wanted to praise considering the loving helps they gave unto him. And thirdly he wanted to give some helpful counsel to the believers at Corinth that they would be "watchful", Steadfast in faith, and "strong in Lord". This triad of encouragement is worth our consideration that we too may be faithful and true in our service for the savior.
