“ My wine ran out ” I was a teacher for several years. My goal was student success. I walked around with a purpose, a smile on my face and joy in my heart because I was doing a job I loved but I was not a natural-born teacher. I worked all hours of day and night preparing lesson plans, projects, etc…
In December 2014 I had an accident which left me in so much pain, every day it began to have an effect on my teaching abilities. The following summer I made (which was for me) a devastating decision. I resigned. From the very first day I was at home I felt the joy I got from teaching start to dwindle away. Since then moments of joy come but they are few. I no longer walk around smiling all the time. I’ve experienced the example of everything having no flavor. Most days I feel I merely exist. I ask God to help me and He does. Daily pain has stole my joy and my wine has run out. I will continue to “Tell it to Jesus”. Thank you for this good message! May God continue to bless you, Ms Sue and your ministry.
