This message was Part-4, covering Hebrews 2:9-10; but it also served as the 2015 Christmas Message, 'Behold.'
This sermon deals with the four points that deals with the purpose of the incarnation.
1. Behold the Lamb - the Christ Child, and He shall save His people from their sin (Matthew 1:21).
2. Behold the Man - Holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners. (Hebrews 7:26).
3. Behold the Sacrifice - The substitute; And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Philippians 2:8).
4. Behold the LORD - Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is LORD to the glory of God the Father.
The LORD - our King, our Saviour, our Redeemer, Jesus has asked the question that stand the test of time -
Luke 6:46 - Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
