We can get excited about a who-dunit movie or book. But suspense and faith just don't go together for us. Life has enough suspense yet we find a life of faith has even more than we really want to deal with. This state or condition of waiting for the uncertain outcome is so terrifying. Sometimes we'll get so scared because of uncertainty we won't even more. When God call we need to respond instead of staying put. God called Abraham; and He calls us as well. Do we get all the details? No, neither did Abraham. Many times what God calls us to do goes against the grain, but He is leading us to opportunity. Many of us know the command given yet are unwilling because we can't see the ‘how'. perhaps the end result can be seen but the middle is a complete mystery, we're kept in suspense. We will never receive if we never go get it! Things we can't see will effect us in different ways but the thing to do is follow what God has called us to do. Just as Abraham did. He went to a foreign country, full of suspense. What ‘foreign' or suspense filled thing has God called us to?
