The first Christians worked out of Antioch, collecting the New Testament and combining it with the Hebrew Old Testament. They began distributing copies and translating it into Syriac, Latin, Armenian, etc. But Satan raised up an Alexandrian counterfeit that would be used by the Mother of Harlots to counter the true Bible coming out of Antioch. And the rest has been a history of Satan's attempt to kill off Antioch Christianity and replace it with Alexandrian philosophy through Rome. This is an important message for the Bible student who wants to know the truth behind the battle for the Bible and the Doctrine of Scripture.
