Today is a day where we remember the birth of Christ. It is a date chosen by man and not God, but it can be used as a time to think on Him. This is always good. For most of the world this will be a high time, a time to focus on ourselves and our families, a time of feasting. But it should also be a low time, a time we remember that God came down to save us. He came down because we could not save ourselves. He came down because we were stained with sin, and He gave the gift that we truly needed, forgiveness. Have you ever come to a place where you have looked to God and begged for cleansing? Have you humbled yourself to say, “I need you!?” It is so easy this time of year to think of ourselves and miss the purpose of the gift. It was to save His people from their sins. The door is open for those who are willing to enter in. Join us as we look at Joseph and the message from the angel to him in Matthew chapter 1.

Great Sermon! Thank you, Pastor Jon, for this wonderful sermon. We were not able to go to church this morning and were blessed to listen to your Christmas Eve message. We are so thankful for your online availability. You continue to teach long after your message was delivered.
May our dear Lord richly bless you and your family this winter.
Miss you,
Denny and Jan
