In the evening we will hear the result of that rushing, leaping, and filling when Mary - Luke 1:46-56 - sings some great theology. We need clear vision about the gospel and her Spirit-given song grants us great clarity. We will also be helped by our Canons of Dort 1.1-4. We have not quite finished the Heidelberg Catechism but this first glance at the Canons of Dort will encourage us to see that great theology is not cold and academic!
So we ask...who believes the "Christmas message"? Which ones are lifted up, which are brought down low by the arrival of Jesus Christ? Those answers come from this text.
