I. GOD THE FATHER HAS SET FORTH HIS PLAN FOR REDEMPTION. a) The Father as restorer God 1. The Fathers ordination to restore is occurring regardless of our limited understanding. (Romans 11:5-12) a. Although it doesn't look like it, God is restoring his creation. b. God's act of restoration is consistent with His sovereign creation and redemption. c. Though God restores many, He does not restore all. i. Remember, those who are saved are so because of God's activity. • God actively hardens those who are lost. ii. What is intended to lead to salvation is turned into witnesses against the lost. d. Some of God's restoration seems backwards to us. e. Ultimately God will restore as He has purposed for his glory.
