Today on this first Sunday Service of 2022, I want to bring you a message that is as much for me as it is for you, and it couldn't be simpler. In Isaiah 45, we read the admonition for us to, not labor, sweat or strive, but simply to look to the LORD God, the Holy One of Israel, and to believe that He is and to rest in Him. Doesn't Jesus in the New Testament call us to come unto Him and He will give us rest? He sure does, and it doesn't take any knowledge of the Greek or Hebrew at all, just simply show up and trust Him. Now all this is not simply for salvation if you're lost, this is also a call to come to Him and let Him resolve and reconcile the things that are askew in our lives. We needn't make resolutions that we likely won't keep anyway, but rather a single resolution to cast it all at His feet and let Him work it out for His glory and for our good. Today on the Sunday Service, we are going to simply look unto the Lord today, and be ye saved.
