On the night before His death, Jesus prayed to His Father that His followers would be 'ONE just as We are one'. On the surface it appears as if God the Father has not answered Jesus' request for His followers are anything but unified. Unresolved personal conflicts, doctrinal differences, and disputable matters separate believers today. But one day, when we stand before Him at the Judgment Seat of Christ, unresolved personal conflicts will be settled and the innocent vindicated. At that time, we will have perfect knowledge so that doctrinal difference will be resolved. And in those disputable matters in which the Bible does not clearly state a right or wrong we will discover that BOTH are right as Jesus accepts both. And His church, the body and bride of Christ, will one day be ONE. Until then, we need to seek to be reconciled to estranged brothers or sisters in Christ. And we need to accept those who differ with us in the non-essentials and love them, seeking to maintain the 'unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.'
