A prologue is an opening to a story that establishes the context and gives background details, often some earlier story that ties into the main one, and other miscellaneous information.
Once again we are stepping into and entering the time of celebration of Christ's birth. Most of the world does not understand what it is truly all about. What we will seek to begin to do this day is keep the biblical perspective with the greatest story, the greatest need this world has ever experienced. Indeed, it is the only thing that truly matters for eternity.
