Liberal Christianity says "We believe in Jesus but we don't believe in miracles, and we don't believe Jesus did any." But this is utter nonsense. Jesus Himself said that if he did not do miracles, then people should not believe in Him!
Therefore a Jesus who did nothing miraculous, and in particular a Jesus who did not miraculously rise from the dead is not worth believing in, as Paul himself said:
"And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God, because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up -- if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable." (1 Cor. 15:14-19)
But we believe not in the worthless, miracle-less Christ that unbelievers have imagined, but the true miracle working Christ of the Bible and History: "But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep." (1 Cor. 15:20)
