True salvation is divine and the ark pictures the provision of salvation in Jesus. The Ark like Salvation, was planned by God, not invented by man. The ark not only saved mankind, but also the creatures within it; just as Christ's death will one day deliver creation from the bondage of sin. As the Old Testament Tabernacle in Exodus would later be constructed at God's direction with only one door, so the Ark shows there is but one way to God. So, there was only one way of salvation; there was only one ark and only one door in the ark.
