Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! God has made us rich in every way so that we can be generous in every occasion. How much does what you give cost you? There is no indication of a Christmas celebration in the Bible. However, there are many examples where people gave gifts to each who had need. We should not expect God to reward us for things we have not done. When we ask God what we should do, when God answers, do what God tells you, even if you do not receive what you think you need. We should take the approach that says our stuff belongs to God. It is not wrong to keep or enjoy things, however, we must keep in mind that God has given to us so that we can give to others. In your giving, are you hoping that people will give thanks to you, or thanks to God?
