Paul recognized that the Corinthian factions - as all the various problems among them - were the product of their natural-mindedness ("fleshliness"). He also discerned that their fleshliness had escaped their conscious notice: The Corinthians regarded themselves as mature and wise Christians who were serving Christ well and couldn't see that they were foolish and infantile men who were actually opposing Him. But Paul saw what they did not and exhorted them to address their foolishness - their natural wisdom - directly and decisively. This message considers that exhortation, especially in light of the fact that Paul was conspicuously silent regarding exactly how the Corinthians were to go about heeding it.
