It is not enough to just know about the Christmas story. The story of the cradle would be incomplete without the story of the Cross. If all you know is the story of Jesus' Birth, then you need to know the rest of the story. Paul Harvey's broadcast was titled "The rest of the story" and he would end the broadcast by using a variation of the title: "And now you know... the rest of the story." I have met people who knew a little about the Christ of Christmas, but they knew nothing of the Christ of the cross. If the story of Jesus had stopped with His birth, then we would have missed out on the whole meaning of His birth. He was born to die one the cross and give His life a ransom for you and me.
