It's interesting and heart searching to note that those that are called "believers" in v. 31 are the same ones that take up stones to cast at Jesus in v. 59. This section of John 8 reveals, therefore, that there are those that have what may be described as a "natural" belief in Jesus and then there are those that Jesus describes as "disciples indeed" in other words they are truly disciples. In this study we consider some of the marks of those that are "disciples indeed." 1. They continue in God's Word. 2. They do the works of Abraham. 3. They confess Christ to be the "I AM" of the Bible.
