Revelation 14:14-20 completes a two part series of five announcements that were presented by God's angels. Part two covers these final two of these messages, which call for two harvests to begin. The first harvest is of wheat, and the harvester is told to "put in your sickle and reap" - the specific hour had come and the harvest of the earth was ripe (dried up/withered). This harvest describes Jesus Christ Himself as He swings His sickle over the earth, snatching believers in the "rapture". The second harvest is of grapes, and the harvester is told to "put in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters from the vine" - the harvest of the earth is fully ripe (at it's prime). This harvest describes the angel from the altar as he swings his sickle into the earth, killing unbelievers in the Day of the Lord.
