When God's people cried out to Him because of the affliction and cruelty of Egypt towards them, the Scriptures say that God heard their cry, remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and raised up a deliverer for them in the person of Moses. Our God is a God who still remembers His covenants with His people. Therefore, even today, when His people cry out to Him in the midst of their affliction, He hears our cries and remembers His covenant!
