This past weekend Pastor Trey continued in our series "Building a biblical church with a sermon from 1 Timothy 5:17–25 entitled "Honoring Elders." Building upon the prior week's theme of honoring the older people of our congregation, we explored what it means to honor the male elders among us, specifically those who bring us the word of God. This involves financial support of our pastors; however, it also requires structures of accountability and discipline for those elders. Find out what this means for us!
