The most significant gift any of us can give to Jesus is the one that Mary, the betrothed servant of the Lord, a virgin, gave. Mary gave the most expensive gift of all, herself—a gift we all can give--"the gift of me." The major hindrance we all face in giving our "gift of me" to the Lord is that most of us already have many significant "set in stone" plans for our own lives.
