While reading this passage I began wondering what kind of star this might be. In other words, what is the nature of the star that the wise men saw? Some people say it was a genuine real star like you see in the sky at night. Others say a meteor or a planetary alignment that formed a bright star in the sign of a fish, still others say it was a star of destiny in the heart of mankind. What was the star? It was the Glory of God, the Shekinah glory of God Himself. God revealing himself I glorious light.
