There are many interesting things in Chapter 13, and this session concludes our study of the first beast, that arrises out of the sea in verses 1-10. In verses 11-18 the second beast is introduced that emerges from the land. It is more deceptive from the first beast as this one represents the false religious systems of the world. Together with Satan and the first beast they form an "unholy trinity". The "Mark of the Beast" is 666 and we discuss what that means as this is introduced and will be continued in the next session.
